Freebird are playing in Chelmsford!
In the Cramphorn Theatre on the 31st March this year,
It's going to be great, that's already clear!!
The night is called their "Back on the Road Tour,"
And they'll be playing Classic Rock songs galore!
There'll be Bon Jovi, Hendricx, Iron Maiden, Sabbath, The Who,
Thin Lizzy, Van Haelen, Whitesnake, Queen to name but a few!!
You will enjoy the Rocking beat,
There'll be singing, clapping and stamping of feet!
Dave, Tony, Nidge and Stu,
These boys are our favourite crew!!
Supporting them are the 4 Kicks,
With Kings of Leon amongst their licks!
This band is not that old,
But their playing is to behold!!
Here'e to everyone who's bought a ticket,
It'll be a blast, so don't forget it!
This is the first time Freebird has hired a hall,
So let's make sure we have a ball!!

I've written a little poem about Freebird playing in the White Horse. Hope you like it!!!
The wild wind blows down Main Street, not a sole in sight.
The dust moves in strange ways on this cold night,
Blowing round corners and up into your face.
I don’t want to be in this godforsaken place!
But, hey, wait a minute! I can see a flashing light,
There’s the sound of drums beating with all their might!
Could this be Bad Medicine or the Dude Looks Like a Lady,
Just Gimme All Your Loving, baby!
No longer will I be Walking By Myself, in a Purple Haze,
Using Radar Love to get me out of this maze.
Life will not get me down,
Now The Boys Are Back In Town!!!
The boys are FREEBIRD. The town is Maldon. The pub is the White Horse on Saturday the 8th October 2011. This was the first time the band had played at this pub and they were terrific!

Saw you at Haverhill on Friday, really enjoyed the set, if fact it was a pity it couldn't have been a bit longer!! Your singer reminded me of Paul Rodgers and musically I thought you were all excellent. I'd definatly come to see you again and I'm going to keep my eye on your web site for somewhere local.
